Questions asked:
- Is it permissible for a salafi sisters that holds the opinion of photography not being taswīr to post her picture without the jilbāb on a social media account restricted to be for only sisters?
- Is it okay for sisters to post relatable or funny videos of uncovered Muslim women or the kuffār women? I find my sisters doing that and I don’t know how to approach them with a correction since they may say that no brother can see their post but I feel the post contains the disobedience and displeasure of Allāh even if the women are kuffār and as Muslims we should not be pleased with such post that angers Allāh.
- I also see how some go ahead to like posts of sisters doing tabarruj or post that contains Music. Please the shaykh should advise us with regards to that and how we should behave on social media.
- What advice do you have for females that sells jilbaab by posting and videoing themselves around social media to market their clothings and what they are selling?
- Do emojis of faces also form part of pictures?
- What is your advice to brothers in dawah scenes that take images on their phones then later after capturing the image blur the faces and post on social media. I feel that the person took the photo then later blur. What’s your advice?
