Dangers of Showing Off (Riyāʾ)
Shaykh Ibn Bāz, may Allāh have mercy upon him, said in the definition of Ar-Riyāʾ:“Riyāʾ is the maṣdar (source, verbal noun) of ‘to show off, and is a Murāʾī (show-off).
