Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said:
“Do not curse Shayṭān (rather) seek Allāh’s refuge from his evil.”¹
Al-ʿAllāmah Ibn ʿUthaymīn -may Allāh have mercy on him- said:
“Man was not ordered with cursing Shayṭān. He was only ordered with seeking refuge from him.
(Allāh), the Exalted, said (what means):
“And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaitan (Satan) then seek refuge with Allah. Verily, He is All-Hearer, All-Knower.”².³
