What I Know About Daniel Haqiqatjou And His Wife, Umm Khaalid

I came across Daniel on Facebook through his posts that attack the Western and liberal ideologies. And his wife, Umm Khaalid writing about homeschooling. I and many other youths like myself see these as things that are necessary to be discussed in our society today, (and they are really necessary) because many ignorant Muslim youths who just want to be ‘woke’ are now compromising the pristine Islamic values to accept these foreign ideas, and how these ideas now affect the syllabi of the conventional schools and even the children that would be the peer of our children calls that we think of homeschooling of children, for a bright future illuminated with the correct teaching of Qur’an and Sunnah. But is Daniel and Umm Khaalid’s page the right place for the Muslim youths?

When I began to study deeper regarding the Manhaj of the pious predecessors, I realized that it is a must for me to know the Manhaj (If they are truly upon the methodology of the Salaf or not. We do not take religious teachings from those who are not upon the Manhaj) of people I learn religious-related matters from, this led me to the curiosity of knowing more about Daniel and his wife. I firstly wrote it on my WhatsApp status to ask people if they know anything about their Manhaj. I received a message from a sister who said she also heard from another person that the wife, Umm Khaalid is from Egypt and from those people that say they are Salafi in Aqeedah, but Ikhwani in Manhaj. This is bad. It is a red light. But it is not enough.

After a while, I saw the criticism of Daniel against Mufti Menk, and he was attacking Mufti Menk for using the word ‘Almighty’ instead of ‘Allah’, Mufti Menk is a well known innovator and yeah, Daniel was right. But what bothered me was that Mufti Menk fell into so many dangerous Bidi’ah that are far dangerous than saying ‘Almighty’ instead of ‘Allah’, I believe that if a true Salafi would refute Mufti Menk, it won’t be on this alone, there are a lot of errors from Mufti Menk. This made me to start doubting his Manhaj.

I know some trusted brothers from outside Nigeria on Twitter, they usually know about the Manhaj of many foreign speakers, so I asked them about Daniel, one of them said he had seen Daniel attacking Saudi Rulers and Senior Scholars, and no Salafi would do this. Only an Ikhwani or a full blown khaariji would do so. Allah commanded us to follow our leaders and we must not incite people against them. We must always pray to Allah to rectify them. And the senior scholars of Saudi, are the Jamaa’ah, they are known to be upon Sunnah and Salafiyyah. No one speaks ill of them, except a blazing Ikhwani or a filthy Khaariji.

I ran a Google search to confirm the allegations laid against Daniel and alas, I found a piece on his website where he was referring to a crown prince of Saudi Arabia as a tyrant and he was inciting his audience against him. (Image attached below)

Since then, I had start warning people who are close to me against him and his wife and I also keep an eye on his page for further evidences. Then I began to see his posts that depicts his Ikhwani Manhaj. His posts about Zionist Isreal and Palestine, his post about boycotting french products, his posts about Hagia Sophia and he even recently posted a cartoon depicting Senior scholars of Saudi Arabia as bootlickers. Subhaanallah. See screenshot below.

To further buttress regarding his Ikhwani-Khaariji ideology, Daniel usually refer to a known Khaariji as his Shaykh (screenshot attached), that is Haytham Sayfaddin. Haytham is a well known Khaariji writer, who has written a lot of books to defend the terrorists’ ideology. The link between Haytham Sayfaddin and the terrorists’ ideology is well known that Ahmad Musa Jibril ( A well known world terrorist) wrote introduction to one of his books, “The Islamic View regarding remembrance, veterans and armistice days”.213:14

Haytham Sayfaddin is known with his rooted connection with the Al Qaeda Mufti, Sulayman bn Naasir Alwan.

Even while I ran a Google search about him, I saw his fatwa being used to promote terrorism ideas on different terrorists’ websites, including the Yoruba terrorists’ group. And this the Haytham that Daniel Haqiqatjou is calling people to and his books.

Here is a refutation of Shaykh Rabee’ on those who refer to Ahlu Sunnah as “Madkhali”.

Question:

Our Shaikh-may Allaah protect you. What do you say about the one who hurl accusations at the Salafiyyoon– in Germany and other countries—with the [term] Madkhaliyyah or Madaakhilah! And that they [i.e. the salafiyoon] divide the Ummah! And that they make a [false] claim to Salafiyyah! And that they do not know except speaking ill of [people], refutation and defamation?

May Allaah bless you and may Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] cure you.

Answer:

الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله، وعلى آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه

To proceed: Indeed, Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jamaa-ah are solely followers of Muhammad [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam]. They follow the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] in creed, methodology, politics, manners and in all affairs of life. They are followers in that [i.e. in these affairs] and they do not innovate.

They are ardent upon this and adhering to the Messenger’s warning against ahlul bidah, and the warning of the Salaf against ahlul bidah. They are adherents of this methodology. The one who opposes them and nicknames them with the terms Jaamiyyah or Madkhaliyyah, then indeed he is misguided; rather he is one who wages war against the Sunnah and the Salafi Methodology.

Therefore, they should fear Allaah and abandon nicknaming. They should fear Allaah and speak a word of truth.

[Allaah (The Most High)] said:]

يا أيها الذين ءامنوا اتقوا الله وقولوا قولا سديدا يُصلح لكم أعمالكم ويغفر لكم ذنوبكم

– O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins] [33:70-71]

Do you take revenge against these Salafiyyoon and nickname them with these nicknames only because they hold onto the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam]?

What is the bidah that the salafiyyoon have in order for them [i.e. the false accusers] to say Mad’khaliyyah, Jaamiyyah?

What is the bidah the Salafiyyoon have?We know that Jamaa-ah At-Taleegh, Jamaa-ah Al-Ikhwaan [Muslimeen] and the Qutubiyyeen have bidah and affairs of misguidance in the fundamentals and subsidiary issues of the religion! So we advise them and clarify the truth to them, so that the one whom Allaah [Glorified and Exalted Be He] grants Tawfeeq, he returns to correctness and follows the path of the pious predecessors. And the one whom Allaah [The Blessed and Exalted] forsakes and does not wish good for him, then indeed he does not increase except in transgression and oppression.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ , عَنْ أَيُّوبَ , عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ , قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ: وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْخَرَّازُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ, عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ, قَالَ: لَا تُجَالِسُوا أَصْحَابَ الْأَهْوَاءِ فَإِنِّي لَا آمَنُ أَنْ يَغْمِسُوكُمْ فِي ضَلَالَتِهِمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْضَ مَا تَعْرِفُونَ

[Ibn Battah with his chain of narration] to Abu Qilābah (d. 104H) who said: “Do not sit with the People of Desires, for indeed I fear they will immerse you in their misguidance, or they will deceive you concerning some of what you know [to be the truth].”

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عُمَرُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانَ , يَقُولُ لَمَّا قَدِمَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ الْبَصْرَةَ: جَعَلَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى أَمْرِ الرَّبِيعِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صُبَيْحٍ, وَقَدْرَهُ عِنْدَ النَّاسِ, سَأَلَ: أَيُّ شَيْءٍ مَذْهَبُهُ؟ قَالُوا: مَا مَذْهَبُهُ إِلَّا السُّنَّةُ. قَالَ: مَنْ بِطَانَتُهُ؟ قَالُوا: أَهْلُ الْقَدَرِ قَالَ: هُوَ قَدَرِيٌّ

So he asked: “What is his creed?”

They replied: “His creed is not except the Sunnah.”

So he asked: “Who are his associates?”

They said: “The people who deny the Pre-Decree (Ahlul-Qadr).”

He said: “Then he is a Qadarī.”

The Shaikh (Ibn Battah) said: “May Allāh’s mercy be upon Sufyān Ath-Thawrī. Indeed he spoke with wisdom and spoke the truth. He spoke with knowledge which is in agreement with the Book and the Sunnah. And [he has spoken] in accordance to what is necessitated by wisdom, perceived with the eyes and known to the people of insight and education.

Allāh (the Most High) stated:

If any Muslim wishes to safeguard his Deen, he must abstain from the pages of both Daniel and his wife, and also warn his loved ones from the pages. There are Salafis who teach and talk better about these things they say. Follow the media of amuslimhomeschool and umm Assad. They even discuss children upbringing upon the Manhaj better.
