You will not find a methodology more merciful to you than the methodology of the Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah. Because it does not go out of the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
And you can also see. We read the book of Imām Aḥmad — Uṣūl As-Sunnah — and we did not mention anything except that we say: Allāh said, His Messenger said, the companions said, the tābiʿūn — the people of the preferred generations — said.
“The best of mankind is my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them.”
These are the people of knowledge, virtue, and understanding. They did not leave anything except that they have explained it.
Our religion is complete. A religion of mercy and ease. It rectifies the societies, the old and young, the [relationship of the] husband with his wife, the family, rather, even the whole world.
And the proof is that the Prophet ﷺ came alone in Makkah, and Allāh rectified the whole world with him. He died after Islām had become widespread and the people had entered the religion in crowds.
﴾And you see that the people enter Allah’s religion (Islam) in crowds, So glorify the Praises of your Lord, and ask for His Forgiveness.﴿ [An-Naṣr:2-3]
This was in the later part of his life. And he died, may peace and blessings be upon him, after [people had] entered Islām and it had become widespread.
Likewise, Islām will enter every house of mud, as the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned — and this will occur in every house of mud and hide, as was reported in the authentic ḥadīth by Aḥmad and others.
