In the name of Allāh. All praise is due to Allāh. May Allāh’s Messenger be extolled and granted peace, with his household, companions, and those who follow his guidance. To proceed:
I have seen—just as others saw—a wave of panic, fear, and exaggeration, from messing around with the voices of our scholars and Imāms through what they call “artificial intelligence,” till it seemed to a lot of people that the verdicts of the imams, may Allāh have mercy upon them, will become jumbled up, and what is authentic from them will mix with what is fabricated upon them. And that the truth will be lost amidst these fabrications and messing around with their audios.
And surely, the truth in which there is no doubt is that the authentic verdicts of our trustworthy Imāms are from the religion of Allāh, the Most High, and the religion of Allāh is preserved with His preservation and care, the Exalted and Most High; confirming His statement and promise:
“Verily, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e., the Quran) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption).” [Al-Ḥijr: 9]
The verdicts of our scholars and Imāms are preserved and recorded in the collections of their verdicts and their official websites, and they are memorized and learnt by heart—and all praise is due to Allāh—by their outstanding students. And they have been serviced and preserved in audios, transcribed, and published, and they have spread all over the world. So, there is no fear upon Allāh’s religion from this aspect.
And surely, [if] someone is capable of producing a program with which the voices of the trustworthy scholars are messed around with, the people of the truth who are specialists in this program (i.e., artificial intelligence) are also capable of producing a program that will disclose that this audio is fabricated upon Shaykh so-and-so and does not fit with his voice from every angle. Thus, there is neither fear nor panic upon the religion of Allāh, the Most High.
And Allāh is the Protector and Helper of His religion.
And He is the Honourer of His allies, the Protector of their knowledge
And just as the great adept critics lived for the fabricators of ḥadīth, by sifting the authentic Sunnah from the weak and fabricated ones, likewise, the adept scholarly critics live for differentiating between what is authentic from the knowledge of the scholars and what was fabricated upon them from it.
And Aṣ-Ṣādiq Al-Maṣdūq (Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ, the truthful one sent with the truth) had given us great glad tidings, may he be extolled and granted peace by my Lord, in the presence of which there is no fear upon the religion of Allāh, that the religion of Allāh will reach the horizons.
And that is what the noble companion, Tamīm bn Aws Ad-Dārī, may Allāh be pleased with him, narrated, that Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said:
“Indeed, this religion will reach everywhere the night and day reach. Allāh will leave no house of mud, nor fur, except that He will make this religion enter it, thus, honouring the honorable or humiliating the humiliated; an honour which Allāh will bestow on Islām, and a humiliation which Allāh will inflict on disbelief.”
Transmitted by Imāms Aḥmad, Aṭ-Ṭabarānī, and Al-Bayhaqī, and it was authenticated by the two Imāms, Al-Ḥākim and Al-Albānī.
So it is nothing but factors, nations, and conflicts, between the people of the truth and the people of falsehood, until Allāh inherits the earth and those on it.
So, whenever the people of falsehood strive to employ the favours of Allāh to distort the religion of Allāh, the people of the truth also strive—with whatever Allāh has facilitated for them—to use them [i.e., these favours] to protect and defend the religion of Allāh.
And Allāh is the Grantor of success, besides Whom there is none worthy of worship.
And Allāh, the Most High, knows best.
