Questioner:
May Allāh be good to you O esteemed Shaykh. This questioner says did Shaykh Rabee’ (may Allāh preserve him) change?
Shaykh ‘Arafaat bn Hasan Al-Muhammadī
These are the books of Shaykh Rabee’ before us and they’re many and have been compiled.
Majmoo’ Al-Kutub war Rasā’il Wal Fatāwā(compilation of Books and Treaties and Religious Verdicts of Shaykh Rabee’ ), read them and explain to us where Shaykh Rabee’ changed in all of these.
Shaykh Rabee’ was an Imām in the era of the Imāms (Shaykhs Bin Bāz, Ibn ‘Uthaymeen and al-Albāni) and they testify to his knowledge, virtue and Imāmah(leadership) in the Sunnah. As Shaykh Bin Bāz – may Allāh have mercy upon him – said: “(He is) an Imaam of the Sunnah
If you claim that he changed then prove it to the people! Provide the evidences upon his change
However, by Allāh, it’s desires. Why? Because the Shaykh, after he advised them with gentleness and was lenient with them, and requested from them to recant from their errors, they turned their backs on Shaykh Robee’ and they started reviling him.
And due to this, you’ll find that the people of bid’ah have a united statement on the revilement of Shaykh Rabee’ ‘ because he is one of the scholars that really clarified rather, he’s the foremost of those who clarified the Misguidance and Deviation of these individuals
And all of us know (that) Shaykh Rabee’ has been warning against the so called Muslim Brotherhood before 40 or 50 years! And all of the world right now know of that, and Shaykh Rabee’ was right in this affair. He and his brothers from the Mashaayikh and in that period – decades ago
SO SHAYKH RABEE’ DIDN’T CHANGE.
And we ask Allāh, the Most Mighty and Majestic to elongate his life upon obedience and make him end upon goodness.
As it is said, every claim must be made upon proofs, as for mere claims and mere speech sent here and there, then, the old women can also do that. Na’am
